I’ve wedged the door of my office open, partly to get a bit of a draft going and partly to save Grace Price, my PA, from having to knock every time she brings confirmation of a backroom appointment.
This time the news is of Dan Digharcava:
I do not think young Dan will set the world alight in any way, but perhaps he can do a job for us for a year.
Dan wants to be a coach, rather than a fitness coach. So please understand that he has not been appointed as a fitness coach. No, no, not at all.
Just a coach who, when he turns up, will find that he’s asked to focus on the squad’s fitness ‘for the time being’. Let’s hope he doesn’t grow restive.
