My first decision as manager of FC Saxan has been to terminate the incoming loan of striker Artiom Puntus. That decision made, I can now proceed to more important matters.
The club has no physio, but a memo in my in-tray informs me that I can appoint a Head Physio and one other.
I won’t require a second invitation. Physios help players to avoid injuries and to recover from them. And, as a consequence, they reduce the number of players required, which helps to make to ensure the budget is used with greater efficiency.
But before I start appointing physios, I need – according to the approach to management that I outlined some weeks ago to the club chairman – to design a protocol for the purpose.
